Finance Manager

Job Description : FINANCE MANAGER AUCKLAND NEW ZELAND This full time permanent role is looking for a Finance Manager/Finance Business partner in a large organisation. The role is responsible for leadership of the Finance Business Partner team that partners with the different functions in our support centre.This includes the provisions of analysis and options to inform business decisions and to help the team act as true commercial partners to their internal customers. · Partner with the business leaders to plan, organise and monitor business activities to achieve outstanding performance · Proactively help design and develop innovative solutions that lead to long term sustainable value, and act as a catalyst in driving initiatives critical to delivering financial performance · Ensure that the team of Business Partners and Accounting staff in the team support the monthly accounting process for their respective portfolios in a way that is agreed with the Financial Controller. This may include compiling regular accounting transactions (Month end journals etc) or being responsible for the reconciliation of key balance sheet clearing accounts · Timely and accurate financial information and business support is provided to assist effective financial management, oversight, and decision-making. · Collaborate with key stakeholders and managers to identify and manage operational tensions and competing priorities to achieve business outcomes. · A qualified accountant (CA/CAANZ, ,) with up-to-date knowledge and relevant management accounting experience. · Proven quantitative and qualitative analytical and evaluative skills, incorporating problem solving, decision-making and creative thinking at a senior level. · Extensive knowledge and understanding of management accounting and financial management principles and practices. · Experience in a Senior Leadership role.
