Job Description : CEO NIGERIA FOR COAL This position heads the coal business vertical and is part of one of the leading business houses in Nigeria that is into mining, steel, agri products, metal recycling, chemicals, distribution, logistics etc. - The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence across the coal business, including organizational growth through the organic route. Your primary goal will be to increase the company's productivity, efficiency, and profitability. You will advise the Board on key operational insights as well as provide coaching to employees. The incumbent will be responsible for the P&L management of the coal business vertical, including planning for profitability, cash flows, growth and new customer acquisition. - Produce annual operation forecasting report and strategy - Oversee and evaluate day-to-day operations, guide teams towards cost effective business operations - Identify new market opportunities to accelerate growth - Present operational strategy recommendations to the Board based on your market research - Liaise with local and national level government authorities on various regulatory and other administrative issues that impact business. - Develop key talent for the company - Help and guide the operational head on commercial/operational issues with regards to outsourced operational activities - Minimum 25 years of executive experience post Engineering Degree - Strategic planning and business development experience - Strong written and verbal and presentation skills - Strong leadership and organizational skills - Understanding of commercials and P&L management - It is mandatory for candidates to have worked in a senior capacity in Operations in Mining industry preferably coal
