Regional Finance Director

Job Description : REGIONAL FINANCE DIRECTOR SINGAPORE a listed group in the chemical industry. The group has operations in 20 countries, with over 12,000 employees around the globe. Job Description As the Regional Finance Director, you will be: · Leading a small team within the APAC business unit to drive strategic finance development; · Provide insightful analytics to support regional management decisions; · Participate actively in strategy development whiles monitoring budget and forecast for strategic and operational decisions; · Perform consistent financial tracking on profit initiatives; · Perform Variance analysis and highlight areas that require key improvements; · Prepare all APAC Legal entity financial and non-financial KPI's and budgets on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis; · Prepare & review financial models for the evaluation of opportunities short term and long-term business scenarios to support business growth; · Closely work with business leaders and stakeholders to understand opportunities, structure objectives and identify risks; · Oversee internal control and compliance of the region. The Successful Applicant Successful candidate will possess: · Degree Educated in Finance, Accounting or related discipline · CA / CPA / CIMA / ACCA qualified, MBA or other business qualifications highly valued · Prior Chemical, Pharmaceutical experience is an advantage · Knowledge in SAP system is required · Outstanding track record of driving commercial improvements, and making difficult business decisions to enhance the operational performance of a company · A strategic business leader able to collaborate and influence cross functionally, outside of the finance community · An inspirational leader with an energetic, approachable and enthusiastic leadership style, able to recruit, motivate and develop staff · Open to travel frequently to the countries covered.
