Job Description : OPERATIONS HEAD EGYPT FOR CHEMICAL PLANT 20+ years experience Strategic Planning: Develop and implement long-term operational strategies aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a diverse team of professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence. Process Optimization: Continuously analyze and improve operational processes to maximize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance productivity. Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with international quality standards, implementing robust quality control measures across all operational processes. Establish seamless co-ordination with mechanical, electrical, instrument maintenance and TPM team. Health, Safety, and Environment: Promote a strong safety culture, ensuring strict adherence to health and safety guidelines and promoting environmental sustainability practices. Conduct regular training programmers to create safety and environment awareness among subordinates. Budget and Cost Control: Develop and manage the annual operational budget, monitoring and controlling costs to achieve financial targets. Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives through the implementation of Lean Six Sigma methodologies, fostering a culture of innovation and process excellence. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports on operational performance, providing insights and recommendations to key stakeholders. Generic relevant parameters: Leadership Skills: Proven track record of successfully leading and managing cross-functional teams, driving organizational change, and achieving operational excellence. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of chemical manufacturing processes, quality control standards, health, safety, and environmental regulations. Problem-Solving Abilities: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, develop effective solutions, and implement process improvements. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization and external stakeholders. Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple projects and priorities. Decision-making Skills: Proven ability to make informed decisions, considering various factors and balancing short-term goals with long-term strategic objectives. Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with modern technology solutions and tools used in operations management, such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, data analytics, and automation.
