General Manager Operations

Job Description : GM- Operations or Plant Manager DAR ES SALAAM TANZANIA Will be reporting to: Director Expected Qualification: B. Tech Mechanical Engineering with maximum experience in Plastic Injection moulding machine operations including printing/ assembly operations. We can also consider a CIPET Graduate (Central Institute of Plastic Engineering Technology) Expected Experience : 20 to 25 years, preferably in the manufacturing of plastic components for cosmetic industry, plastic FMCG industries & automotive companies. Expected remuneration: Will be commensurate with the ability of the candidate. Other must haves: a. Must have been part of any automation of technology in any of the current of past companies b. Must have very good communication & interpersonal skills; c. A Team leader; should have the ability to lead an organization with more than 300 workforce; d. Honest & sincere and should be able to interact with high end domestic & international customers efficiently. Technical & other Job description 1. Will be responsible for the operations and maintenance of more than 20+ injection moulding machines and other accessories like printing machines etc. 2. Should be able to lead a team of around 300 workforce at the plant. ( 55 staff appx & 250 workers ) 3. Will have to coordinate closely with the Sales department for understanding & fulfilling the customer demand on time and in full. 4. Will be leading the following departments at the plant o Moulding & grinding department o Assembly department o Maintenance o HR o Quality control o Tool Room 5. Must be able to coordinate with the Technical & Development head at the Corporate office for new developments and Tool room operations. 6. Preside over monthly MIS and reporting meetings at the plant.
