Job Description : Import Manager - Nigeria. Budget: Net savings in USD + Locals · Must have a minimum of 15 to 18 years experience in a large organization of which the last 5 - 8 years independently handling the Export/Import Function. · Experience in multi-location, multi-currency, multi-cultural environments in an International setting is preferable. · Nigeria Experience Mandatory. Responsibility :- · Monitor shipments and Customs clearance. Communicate status, delays to appropriate parties. Resolve shipment issues, and possess the ability to determine when to elevate to management for resolution. · Maintain Import and Export document files in accordance with government regulations and Company policy. · Monitor the changes in Import/Export policies of the Nation, competitors activities through their Importing/Exporting and update the Management to formulate required strategies and undertake necessary actions.
