Job Description : TECHNICAL ACCOUNTING LEAD WELLINGTON NEW ZEALAND As the Technical Accounting Lead, you will be involved in a breadth of responsibilities, from providing advice on technical financial issues to ensuring the organisation meets its reporting and tax requirements. The Technical Accounting Lead will also have leadership responsibilities within the Financial Accounting team. Use strong financial accounting skills and knowledge to review accounting standard releases from authoritative bodies and assess impacts on future policies and reporting Deliver financial accounting services that meet the needs of stakeholders Managing relationships with key clients Financial Accounting reports as required Coach and mentor other members of the Financial Accounting team Key Requirements: CA qualified or equivalent Strong understanding of accounting standards Prior experience in Financial Accounting roles The ability to engage confidently with the wider business
