Managing Director 

Job Description : MD BEVERAGE MANUFACTURING EAST AFRICA Leads overall planning and execution of site's operational performance Provides overall direction, control and mangement of the site, focusing on key performance indicators Ensures the achievement of site goals and objectives through the implementation of manufacturing plans Establishes site annual operating plan/budget Provides leadership to project control timetable that describes all major Strategic plans through its initiatives that will yield to milestones and breakthroughs Provide leadership to the completion of new product transfers, qualifications and mass production Drives the development of new products being transferred and accelerates growth in the organization Ensures that production plans are met with the most productive cost and that customer delivery and quality requirements are satisfied Responds to changes, issues and problems that affect or may affect future manufacturing operations Focuses on yield improvements to achieve cost of poor quality target Drives the implementation of Continuous Improvement (Six Sigma and Lean) programs Promote continuous learning culture throughout the organization Develop succession plan for key leadership positions in operations Ensures that effective measurement and control, scorecards and metrics are in place Ensures that the quality management systems requirements are established, effectively implemented and maintained in accordance with the required International Standards and customer requirements Manage an operations of over 600 employees in various business units Requirements Advanced Degree /MBA in any Engineering, Science or related field At least 25 years of senior managerial experience in high volume manufacturing environment with exposure to financial accountability with 10 years at Director level Broad knowledge in Semiconductor manufacturing, Six Sigma methodology, Lean Manufacturing, Operations management and General Management experience Multi-national corporations work exposure with strong ability to work with corporate headquarter team for results Proven leadership track record, drive, execution and problem solving abilities to meet engineering, operational and business goals Six-Sigma black belt certification and advantage with extensive experience in TPM and DFM methodologies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
