Plant Head

Job Description : Plant Head needed TANZANIA (Background in bottling or distillery) Responsibilites: · Direct work group or department to assure on-time production and/or delivery. · Operate equipment to Distill, Dilute, Filter and other operations of the distillery. · Manage and operate peripheral equipment like boiler, RO water system · Maintain the quality and consistency of the product on every batch · Create the SOP’s for the operation · Stablish production forecast / plan · Procure all materials needed to accomplish production forecast · Train employees to produce at standard-and-above efficiency. · Maintain quality standards · Coach, mentor, and motivate employees while maintaining high employee morale and positive relationships · Teach safe work practices, good housekeeping procedures, and seeing they are adhered to · Uphold machines and/or equipment in good repair · Recommend changes or improvement in methods, equipment, handling, or lay-out · Responsible for accuracy of required reports and record-keeping · Monitors and enforces all Company, EPA, and Safety regulations and policies. · Commitment for the Company’s ISO program including the quality and food safety of our products. Qualifications: · Have at least 25 years of experience as distiller or bottling production with proven knowledge of operating skills.\ · Bachelor degree (preferable in Chemical Engineering) · Experience with organoleptic evaluation of spirits · Experience with TTB reports · Strong problem-solving capacity. · Capable of managing a dynamic environment and establish procedures. · Manage different projects simultaneously. · Great communication and interpersonal skills. · Have strong math, analytical & counting skills · Have strong computer skills Must be willing to work hands-on in the manufacturing process as well as the administrative & leadership role.
