Job Description : FACTORY HEAD ROLLING MILLS MATERIAL HANDLING DUBAI 15+ years experience Job Profile * Organise resources and activities with an objective to efficient & Safe collection, transportation and stacking of Finished goods and semi-finished goods for uninterrupted production processes * Develop, implement and maintain systems and practices for cost effective and efficient material handling activities. * Ensure Rolling Mills and Sales targets are met by efficient loading of dispatch vehicles and feeding of required billets to rolling mills. * Ensure sectional expenditure is with in approved budgets * Coordinate and monitor contractor activities for fulfilment of contractual obligations with regards to rolling mills. * Developing, implement and monitor systems, procedure and practices for IMS and ensure quality requirements. * Ensure compliance to Safety, quality, Environment, IMS and other regulatory requirement. * Ensure the inventory records of Finished goods & Semi-finished products tally with physical stock. * Organise and manage human resources to ensure development of employees competence with high work morale and foster team work and discipline amongst employees and contractors. * Ensure methods, systems & practices for maximum yield from raw material, Semi finished & finished goods with focus on internal and external customers. * Coordinate amongst maintenance service providers for upkeep of equipment and accessories. Required Candidate profile Minimum Education Qualifications (Must Have) University degree in Engineering or Higher diploma ( Full Time course minimum 4 years) Any preferred professional training (Nice to have) Post diploma courses in material handling or Environment and safety management * Lead accessory( Auditor) of EMS & ISO standards * Team Building and motivation Professional Experience (Must haves) 10 Years in Heavy Industries 5 years in Supervisory experience Previous Experience/exposure Recommendations (Nice to have Material Handling in Integrated steel industry or metallurgical Plant Experience in Managing Environment and Safety in Industries Key Performance Indicators * Ensure expenditure within approved budgetary proposals * Ensure compliance to FIFO and inventory records tally with physical stock * Keep production interruption due to inadequacies in Finished goods, Semi-finished goods handling * * Maximize yields from finished goods and semifinished products. * * Ensure Safety & environment incidents to acceptable limits * * Ensure systems conform to Integrated management system with least non conformance
