General Manager

Job Description : GM PHARMA UAE A pharmaceutical distribution company is looking to hire an experienced General Manager responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the facility. The incumbent will lead the organization in establishing strategic partnerships to drive growth. The role: Supervise, coordinate, and oversee daily company operations. Determine staffing requirements, participate in recruitment, staff appraisal, training, and disciplinary actions. Develop strong partnerships with current principals and drive business cooperation with leading pharmaceutical companies. Implement marketing strategies, including sales promotions. Enforce company policies and standard operating procedures. Ensure compliance with government regulations and licensing. Convene and chair regular staff meetings to address concerns related to performance, conduct, and facilities. Achieve Annual Targets (Sales/Collections/New Companies) and company budget. Manage employee leave schedules, duty rosters, and other requirements. Write and submit monthly and annual reports to the board. Must Haves: BS in Pharmaceutical Sciences/Business Management/Business Administration from a recognized institution; Master’s degree is advantageous. 20+ years in pharma sales with 3-5 years of experience as a General Manager in pharmaceuticals or as a departmental head in Sales & Marketing with financial acumen. Good knowledge of business and management principles and practices in the UAE. Strong leadership and strategic planning skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Highly organized with a strong work ethic. Entrepreneurial spirit.
