15 yearsJob Description : Director Corporate Communications – Dubai, United Arab Emirates Job purpose: The purpose of this position is to Lead the Corporate Communications department to assure strong brand positioning through internal and external PR, Live Communications and Corporate Social Responsibility programs, and raise the company’s visibility in the local marketplace and manages its reputation amongst its key stakeholders using an integrated communication strategy, and Spearhead the MNO’s efforts towards a more engaged internal culture by making internal staff the first to know about the company’s news and keeping their loyalty levels up with engaging internal campaigns. Qualifications, experience, skills and competencies: Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in a communication role in any kind of industry Good understanding of PR, crisis communication and public speaking Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications/related field. Knowledge and skills: Strong comprehension, spoken and written communication skills Demonstrable breadth and depth in strategic thinking with problem-solving ability, using analysis and synthesis Strong fact and experience-based decision-making style Strong leadership with a collaborative style of managing & leading; with a focus on team-building & team-work Delivering Results with a win-win approach Demonstrable flexibility in approach and attitude; with an ability to adapt to change & effectively manage & communicate change to people while driving business target-achievement
