Job Description : GM PRODUCTION FOR GARMENT EXPORT HOUSE KENYA 15+ years experience Production Planning and Scheduling: · Develop and implement effective production plans to meet customer demands and delivery schedules. · Monitor and optimize production processes to ensure efficiency and timely completion of orders. Team Leadership: · Lead, mentor, and manage a skilled team of production professionals. · Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and continuous improvement. Quality Control: · Implement and maintain stringent quality control measures throughout the production process. · Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure products meet international standards. Cost Management: · Oversee budgetary considerations and work towards optimizing production costs without compromising on quality. · Identify and implement cost-saving measures where possible. Supply Chain Coordination: · Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure the timely availability of raw materials and components. · Streamline communication and coordination between production, procurement, and logistics. Compliance and Safety: · Ensure adherence to all relevant safety standards and compliance with industry regulations. · Implement and monitor ethical manufacturing practices. Continuous Improvement: · Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices. · Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to enhance production capabilities. Preferred candidate profile · Bachelor's degree in Apparel Manufacturing, Textile Engineering, Master's degree is a plus. · Proven experience of at least 15+ in a managerial role within the garment manufacturing industry. · Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and supply chain management. · Excellent leadership and communication skills. · Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards. · Results-oriented with a focus on meeting production targets and deadlines. · Familiarity with sustainability practices in garment production is highly advantageous.
