Job Description : CHIEF PROJECTS MANAGER TANZANIA Ability to manage multiple projects. Ability to manage multiple projects with each project remaining profitable. Ability to manage multiple profitable projects time schedules and ensuring zero delays. Understanding what the clients and the company want to achieve. Agreeing timescales, costs and resources needed to deliver every project. Guiding the drawing up of detailed plans for how to achieve each stage of every project. Selecting and leading a project team Managing risks to avoid delays or reputational damage. Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project. Directing a multi-disciplinary team Managing project managers and enabling them to supervise and manage their own teams. Communicating with staff at every level, in a calm, personable way Overseeing several projects at the same time Ensuring that each stage of each project happens on time, on budget and to a high standard of quality and HSE. Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports. Reporting regularly on progress to the client and shareholders / directors Liaising with clients and building strong working relationships Resolving any issues or delays Managing several projects simultaneously with the support of junior project managers Making strategic decisions and providing leadership and direction to project managers to implement those decisions. Head Office role with daily site visits mandatory. Preferred candidate profile BSc/MScs/BTech in engineering, building science or relevant field. PMP or equivalent certification will be an advantage. Proven experience as construction project manager of multiple projects simultaneously. Thorough knowledge of construction / project monitoring software Excellent organizational and time-management skills A team player with leadership abilities More than 18 Years experience managing Projects Managers handling variety of projects in different sectors.
