Job Description : OPERATIONS MANAGER NIGERIA , a lubricant, chemicals and plastics manufacturing company is seeking to hire qualified candidates to fill the below positions Job title: Expatriate Operation Manager Location: Lagos Nigeria An experienced expatriate operation manager with experience working in Nigeria or any other West African Country. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in related fields. 1.*Production Management:* - Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand and deadlines. - Monitor production quality and efficiency, making adjustments as needed. 2.*Inventory Control:* - Manage inventory levels of raw materials, finished products, and supplies. - Ensure adequate stock levels to meet production requirements without excess waste or storage costs. 3. *Cost Management:* - Monitor and control production costs to optimize efficiency and profitability. - Identify areas for cost reduction or process improvement. 4. *Supply Chain Management:* -Coordinate with suppliers to ensure a steady and reliable supply of raw materials. - Optimize supply chain processes to minimize lead times and costs. 5. *Team Leadership:* -Supervise and manage factory staff, including production workers and support staff. - Train, mentor, and motivate employees to achieve production goals. 6.*Maintenance and Equipment:* - Oversee maintenance of machinery and equipment to minimize downtime. - Arrange for repairs or replacements when necessary. 7*Budgeting and Financial Management:* Qualifications Manufacturing experience is a must BCOM/MCOM qualification Proficiency with Microsoft Office Strong organizational and communication skills Strong ability to multitask Comfort working with multiple groups within the business
