Job Description : PROCURMENT MANAGER CONSUMER GOODS DUBAI The qualified candidate will be tasked with formulating purchase strategies, overseeing the implementation of procurement processes, and cultivating beneficial relationships with suppliers. Additionally, they collaborate with internal departments to address supply requirements and supervise the daily operations of the purchasing team. Responsibilities extend to evaluating potential suppliers, analyzing cost comparisons, negotiating contractual terms, and establishing inventory management protocols to anticipate the demand for new materials. Must have: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is essential, coupled with a minimum of 15 years of experience in the food industry, specifically animal protein. Candidates should demonstrate computer proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Office applications like Excel and Word. A strong aptitude for numerical accuracy is crucial, along with a deep understanding of purchasing policies, processes, and procedures. The ideal candidate will possess excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable vendor terms and pricing. Additionally, they should be self-directed, capable of working autonomously with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards. Strong interpersonal and communication abilities are essential, paired with exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the capacity to multitask effectively. The ability to adapt and learn new software and processes is also highly valued.
