Job Description : APAC FINANCE MANAGER SINGAPORE Reporting to the Finance and System Director, the Finance Manager, APAC - Joint Ventures is a core team member for JV’s long-term plan and budget preparation, including budgeting and planning system submission, financial matrix and presentation slides preparation. Finance business partner to renewables asset and country team in bridging operational and financial performance through thorough analysis of any deviations. In particular :1) gather and analyse operational and financial information, feed-back and reporting from project teams in the different geographies (mainly India and Japan); 2) Establish good rapport with all the JV partners in APAC Responsible to all the financial matters relating to the quarterly JV board meeting, including but not limited to preparing and presenting of financial memo to the board, following up with JV’s finance team on all material accounting and tax matters, which could impact the JV economic return Supporting new investment and M&A activities relating to the JVs in APAC Ensure timely and accurate financial month/ quarter/ year close process and maintain high integrity of FS compliance to IFRS and local GAAP Ensure timely and accurate quarterly CAP reporting package submission for all renewables Singapore, India, Mauritius, Japan entities (total nine entities) Ensure timely and accurate annual tax submission for all renewables Singapore and India entities Ensure smooth treasury management for all renewables APAC JV’s activities in Singapore Ensure effective cross functional communication between renewables APAC hub, Paris, India and Japan asset management team/project team Maintain a robust communication with group functions on renewables APAC hub operations including finance, tax, treasury, and legal Support China JV financing activities from Singapore perspective To succeed in this Finance Manager, APAC - Joint Ventures role, you must be able to communicate well and have experience in preparation of group consolidation financial statements under IFRS, with both foreign subsidiaries and JVs. Degree in Accountancy, ACCA or equivalent Minimum of eight years relevant experience with at least three years in external audit is a must Strong fundamental knowledge in International Financial Reporting Standards and principles of governance, risks, and controls is a must Experience in preparation of group consolidation financial statements under IFRS, with both foreign subsidiaries and JVs. Familiar with economic, financial models and governance topics Ability to communicate well in verbal and written form, with both internal/external stakeholders Able to work independently as well as in a team. Possess a sense of urgency, take initiatives, able to prioritise and meet deadlines Exhibit proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to create business cases, perform financial analysis, and prepare presentations. Advanced Excel skills is a must English proficiency required, ideally if speak a regional language fluently Be open to travel when necessary
