Chief Executive Officer

Job Description : CEO for Cassava Plant Agri Biz Needed in Rwanda Job Description : · Lead the executive team in executing strategic plans and initiatives to drive growth, innovation and long-term success. · Manage the company's financial health, including budgeting, forecasting to drive financial growth and sustainability. · Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with shareholders and key industry stakeholders. · Drive sales including exports and maintain a deep knowledge of the companys current and potential export markets · Make and oversee high-level decisions about policy and strategy. · Identify and mitigate risks that could impact the company's operations or reputation. · Serve as the face of the company, representing the business in public forums, conferences, and media appearances. Effectively communicate the company's mission and achievements to various audiences. · Report to the board of directors and keep them informed. · Develop and implement operational policies and a strategic plan. · Develop the companys culture and create an environment that promotes great performance and positive morale · Take part in recruitment of senior managerial positions when necessary. · Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company. · Build alliances and partnerships with other organizations. Kind of Person they want · Masters degree in business administration, Agribusiness or any business relevant field · At least 7 years of work experience out of which 4 should be in a senior managerial position with profit and loss responsibility. · Entrepreneurial mindset · Strong negotiation skills and experience dealing with suppliers, distributors, customers and other vendors · Professional certification will be an added advantage · Experience in sales & marketing · Experience working with Food processing industry · Experience overseeing factory operations end-to-end is a strong advantage. · Understanding of the cassava value chain will be an added advantage. · Strong interpersonal skills · Fluency in English. French and Kinyarwanda is an added advantage. · Proven negotiation skills · Excellent communication skills · Ability to innovate and create new concepts · Ability to communicate and cooperate with everyone in the organization · Ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural environment · 20+ years experience · candidates who have worked in the East African region?
