Purchase and Supply Chain Director

Job Description : PURCHASING AND SUPPLY CHAIN DIRECTOR FRANCE Role is open to candidates worldwide who can speak French and are eligible for EU work permit management is recruiting its new Purchasing & Supply Chain Director. Reporting to the General Director, the Purchasing & Supply Chain Director M/F will be responsible for leading a team of around ten people around the following main issues: - Identify the most competitive suppliers (cost/quality/deadlines) in the different geographic markets (purchasing strategy) - Work closely with other subsidiaries to constantly feed the estimation bases with feedback from the latest consultations and achievements - Coordination of purchases with other subsidiaries on joint projects - Intervene in the offer phase as close as possible to the pre-project teams to best adjust purchasing estimates (compromise between competitiveness and risk management) - Identify all opportunities in the project phase to improve the profitability of contracts - Manage purchasing/logistics teams to meet contractual commitments in the project phase - Negotiate and finalize supplies within the framework of implementation contracts or operating purchases to achieve & improve economic results - Guarantee the provision and delivery of equipment in compliance with contractual commitments in terms of scope, quality and deadline - Ensure compliance with the regulations in force in customs and tax matters for the management of import and export flows of the 'business. - Actively participate in the “design to cost” approach by validating with the design office the optimization levers identified by the subcontractors - Coming from a engineering school or business school if strong industrial experience - Fluent English - Demonstrated skills in team management - Successful experience of at least 10 years in purchasing, supply chain and project engineering in an industrial and international environment - The purchasing methodology in “project” mode
