We are currently seeking a strategic and experienced professional for the role of General Manager - Finance & Accounts. This is a key leadership position contributing to the financial success and growth of our client's operations. Responsibilities: 1.Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with business objectives. Conduct regular financial analysis and provide insights to senior management. 2.Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasting activities. Monitor and analyze variances, providing recommendations for corrective actions. 3.Financial Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial reports in compliance with regulatory standards. Present financial statements to the executive team, highlighting key performance indicators. 4.Cash Flow Management: Oversee cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds for operational needs. Implement effective treasury management practices. 5.Tax Planning and Compliance: Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the organization's tax position. Ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations. 6.Risk Management: Identify and assess financial risks, implementing measures to mitigate exposure. Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard financial assets. 7.Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. Provide guidance on complex financial matters and professional development opportunities. 8.Audit Coordination: Coordinate external audits, ensuring a smooth and efficient audit process. Address audit findings and implement corrective actions. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA/CPA is a plus. Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles within the automotive industry. Skills and Competencies: Strong financial acumen and strategic thinking. Excellent leadership and team management skills. In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
