Job Description : COMMERCIAL MANAGER GHANA reporting to the Head of Plantations. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading plantation and factory operation, perfect for those with 8-10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in Ghana or West Africa. As a Commercial Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in sourcing materials, negotiating contracts, and maintaining supplier relationships. Key responsibilities include: Sourcing materials for plantation and factory operations. Drafting and negotiating contracts with various service providers (transport, processors, warehouse, etc.). Maintaining a comprehensive database of local and overseas suppliers and service providers. Keeping up-to-date with market trends, especially in key materials like fertilizers, chemicals, and packing bags. Liaising with clearing agents and regulators for smooth import of materials and capital equipment. Developing strong relationships with FOB agents, container suppliers, and freight companies for effective outbound logistics. Managing all procedures for imports, local purchases, and exports efficiently and on time. Developing and implementing SOPs for supplies and services.
