They are currently seeking a dynamic and strategic Supply Chain Director to lead the supply chain operations based in Dubai. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the SCD will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the supply chain, from procurement and logistics to distribution and inventory management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in supply chain management, with extensive experience in strategic planning, process optimization, and team leadership. What you'll be doing... Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels. Lead and manage a high-performing supply chain team, providing direction, guidance, and mentorship to drive operational excellence. Oversee procurement activities, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management to ensure the availability of high-quality materials and services. Streamline logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, to enhance supply chain agility and responsiveness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, finance, and production, to align supply chain activities with business goals and objectives. Implement robust inventory management practices to minimize stockouts, excess inventory, and obsolescence while optimizing inventory turnover. Evaluate and mitigate supply chain risks, including disruptions in the global supply chain, geopolitical issues, and regulatory compliance. Utilize data analytics and technology solutions to drive continuous improvement and innovation across the supply chain. Who you are... Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Strong understanding of supply chain principles, processes, and best practices. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute supply chain strategies that deliver measurable results. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization. Proven track record of driving operational excellence, cost savings, and process improvements. Experience working in the Middle East region and knowledge of local market dynamics is highly desirable. Proficiency in supply chain management software and advanced analytics tools.
