Job Description : STORE IN CHARGE NIGERIA 12+ years experience Roles & Responsibilities: Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing stock. Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability. Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies. Ordering and Procurement: Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of spare parts or automotive products. Place orders based on inventory needs and sales forecasts. Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to maximize profitability. Stock Organization: Arrange and organize products in the store for easy accessibility. Implement proper labeling and coding systems for efficient stock identification. Ensure that storage areas are clean, safe, and compliant with industry standards. Customer Service: Assist customers in locating and purchasing the required spare parts or automotive products. Provide information on product specifications, availability, and pricing. Address customer inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and professionally. Team Management: Supervise and train store staff to ensure they are knowledgeable about products and customer service. Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members. Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback. Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer demands and market trends. Provide input on product selection and promotions to boost sales. Generate reports on sales trends, stock levels, and customer preferences. Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet quality standards before being placed in stock. Implement and monitor quality control procedures to minimize product defects. Handle product returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies. Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety protocols within the store to prevent accidents and injuries. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards. Keep abreast of changes in regulations affecting inventory and storage. Reporting: Generate regular reports on inventory levels, sales performance, and other relevant metrics. Provide management with insights and recommendations for improvement. Vendor Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and vendors. Evaluate supplier performance and negotiate favorable terms. Identify and onboard new suppliers when necessary. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred). Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in the automobile or spare parts industry. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Knowledge of automotive products and spare parts. Familiarity with inventory management software. Previous experience: Working in West Africa will be an added advantage. Industry Exp: Automobile / Spare parts
