Vice President Strategy

Job Description : VP STRATEGY DUBAI The VP - Strategy for the UAE Region is responsible for leading and developing the overall strategic direction, objectives, and initiatives for the businesses and functions in the region. The role entails ensuring effective and lean functional processes to drive growth and success. - Direct and develop the comprehensive strategy and corporate performance for the UAE Region, aligning and integrating strategic plans. - Develop and consolidate a strategic direction and initiatives that empower businesses and functions in the UAE Region to achieve their strategic objectives. - Implement strategy and corporate performance programs by establishing schedules, methods, and resource allocation. - Analyze long-range economic trends and identify growth opportunities and expansion possibilities in line with strategic business objectives. - Identify, drive, and develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and benchmarks to assess the success of UAE Region businesses and functions. - Collaborate with UAE Region functions to develop business plans, including cost/revenue analysis, to feasibly achieve strategic objectives. - Work with concerned divisions to develop, review, and implement the Master Plan based on key inputs. - Monitor performance of UAE Region businesses and functions based on defined KPIs and benchmarks in the Consolidated Strategic Plan. - Develop an efficiency improvement strategy for UAE Region businesses and functions, addressing pain points and areas for improvement. - Prepare and evaluate the annual budget, monitor implementation, and recommend adjustments. - Lead and oversee the Strategy UAE Regional working team, nurturing their development and ensuring results. - Perform any other responsibilities assigned by Top Management. - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Strategy, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. - Min of 10 years proven experience in strategy development and implementation, preferably in the logistics industry or a similar global setting. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to study economic trends and identify growth opportunities. - Excellent leadership and team management abilities. - Exceptional communication and presentation skills. - Proficiency in project management and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. - Proficient in using business intelligence tools to analyze data and make strategic decisions. - Highly motivated, proactive, and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. - Strong understanding of financial analysis and budget management.
