Job Description : PROCUREMENT MANAGER NIGERIA The role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders, negotiating with suppliers, and implementing procurement strategies to optimize costs while maintaining high-quality standards. Sourcing and Supplier Management - Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for mining equipment, materials, and services. Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure a reliable and cost-effective supply chain Contract Negotiation - Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure favourable agreements in terms of pricing, quality, and delivery schedules. Cost Optimization : Implement cost-effective procurement strategies without compromising quality and safety standards. Conduct market analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and stay informed about industry trends Risk Management - Assess and manage risks related to procurement activities, including supply chain disruptions, market fluctuations, and regulatory changes. Develop contingency plans to mitigate potential risks and ensure business continuity. Compliance- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies in all procurement activities. Maintain accurate documentation and records to support auditing processes. Qualification: Bachelors degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Work Exp: Minimum 10 years experience. Previous experience: Working in West Africa will be an added advantage.
