Internal Audit Head

Job Description : INTERNAL AUDIT HEAD INDONESIA In this business critical role, you will support the senior management of the group and deliver the highest quality service and able to improve the efficiency and effectiveness in the company’s business process and compliance. This Head of Internal Audit position will be based in Jakarta. Lead internal audit’s annual risk assessment and enterprise risk assessment and planning process to develop the audit plan and ensure the plan is responsive to and aligned with the risk profile of the organisation Ensure that internal audit is performing its work in accordance with established professional standards and remain abreast of emerging trends and best practices that can be incorporated into the function Coordinate the activities of external auditors including how best to leverage the work performed and results produced from internal audit’s work Meet regularly with the audit committee to report the status of internal audit’s ongoing monitoring activities, educate/inform the committee of emerging risks and/or exposures (whether internal or external to the company) that should be considered, and serve as a “thought leader” with respect to risk management and internal control best practices Perform internal controls assessments of acquired companies or joint venture companies and lead efforts to mitigate identified control deficiencies To succeed in this Head of Internal Audit role, you must have at least eight years' managerial position covering internal audit, internal control and risk management. Bachelor's (or above) degree in accounting or equivalent degree 10 years' experience in internal audit, compliance, internal control or other relevant fields FMCG experience is preferred Fluency in Indonesian and English is a must Strong analytical thinker, detail-orientation and leadership skills Proactive, self sufficient and innovative candidate with strong organisational and multitasking skills Proven record of excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within group audit and with stakeholders has an outstanding reputation in its field and great value is placed on training and development.
