Job Description : CFO GCC OUT OF KSA The (CFO) GCC provides both financial direction both operational and programmatic support to the organization, working alongside the CEO and board members along with the PE Group. The CFO supervises the finance unit and is the chief financial spokesperson for the organization with a hands-on approach for the direction and the key driver for the growth of this major food production organisation. The CFO reports directly to the CEO MENA with a dotted line into Europe on all strategic and tactical matters as they relate to budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs and the securing of new funding, contract negotiations, partners, and potential setting up of IPO. The CFO will be responsible for the quick crisis management turnaround of the business as well as having a strong hold on the cash management side of the business. A core focus will be around planning forecasting supporting the core channels of Farming, Production Farms, Production facilities, Factories, Distribution, Supply Chain and commercials. The group today is a $700M organisation growing rapidly across the MENA region with a core focus on the major Saudi Growth for 2030. We aim to have majority factories, facilities and farms across the KSA with this being 50% of our revenue hub. The key driver is a fresh eyes and ideas that impact the business immediately. A proven leader who has demonstrated growth hand excellence both pre Covid and during covid to steer results. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assist in performing all tasks necessary to achieve the organization's mission and help execute staff succession and growth plans. Train the Finance Unit leadership team and other staff on raising awareness and knowledge of financial management matters across the US. Work with the CEO and shareholders on the strategic vision including fostering and cultivating stakeholder relationships at US levels as well as assisting in the development and negotiation of contracts. Participate in developing new business, specifically: assist the CEO in identifying new funding opportunities, the drafting of prospective programmatic budgets, and determining cost effectiveness of prospective service delivery. Assess the benefits of all prospective contracts and advise the Executive Team on programmatic design and implementation matters. Ensure adequate controls are installed and that substantiating documentation is approved and available such that all purchases may pass independent and governmental audits. Oversee the management and coordination of all fiscal reporting activities for the organization including organizational revenue/expense and balance sheet reports, reports to funding agencies, development and monitoring of organizational and contract/grant budgets. Oversee all purchasing and payroll activity for staff and participants. Attend Board and Subcommittee meetings, including being the lead staff on the Audit/Finance Committee. Monitor banking activities of the organization. Ensure adequate cash flow to meet the organization's needs. Serve as one of the trustees and oversee administration and financial reporting of the organization's Savings and Retirement Plan. Investigate cost-effective benefit plans and other fringe benefits which the organization may offer employees and potential employees with the goal of attracting and retaining qualified individuals. Oversee the production of monthly reports including reconciliations with funders and pension plan requirements, as well as financial statements and cash flow projections for use by Executive management, as well as the Audit/Finance Committee and Board of Directors. Assist in the design, implementation, and timely calculations of wage incentives, commissions, and salaries for the staff. Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable and ensure a disaster recovery plan is in place. Oversee business insurance plans and health care coverage analysis. Oversee the maintenance of the inventory of all fixed assets, including assets purchased with government funds (computers, etc.) assuring all are in accordance with federal regulations. Contributing to the strategic direction of our Digital business by actively interpreting and reviewing financial results with business managers, and providing insightful analysis to continuously improve business performance Driving continuous improvement of our processes and systems allowing us to gain a better understanding of our actual performance, and improving our forecasting accuracy Performing profitability and investment analysis on business opportunities that aid in the decision-making process and help improve profitability Experience of farming, Agri, dairy, juices and beverages markets. REQUIRED SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES · Relevant Master’s degree and/or professional qualification (CFA) · At least 10 years directly relevant work experience; a proven expertise in financial planning and analysis in an international environment, and preferably in dairy, Agri, Juices, Food Production market. Knowledge of Accounting and US GAAP rules is a plus. ·Must have held a position of CFO/COO with a hand on operational transformational mindset leading a P&L more than $500M Ability to deliver results against tight and complex timelines, and navigate large amounts of information, and “connect the dots” from various data sources. Ability to have managed fast paced matrix organizations Ability to have worked in both multinational and family or PE backed businesses where results and change is critical. 8-10 years CFO experience within global food production FMCG companies who has combined hands on commercial an operational experience driving FMCG brands. · Strong analytical skills and strategic mindset · Strong commercial leader with an understanding of retail channels of sales & distribution. · Team player attitude, solid positive energy, confidence, integrity and passion for the Brand · SAP knowledge is strongly preferred This package will pay in the region of AED 120,000 + 20% Bonus + LTIPS + Family Flights + Family Medical. This is not a step up role, we are not looking for aspirational Controllers or FD's!!!!
