Job Description : CFO FLORIDA USA Said role is open to all nationalities who are suitably qualified, can obtain working rights and come under 55 years age Must have minimum 25 years experience Reporting to the CEO and the Board of Directors, the Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”) will serve as an integral member of the Executive Management Team. This position will be responsible for all financial reporting, planning and analysis, tax planning and financial oversight of the firm’s real estate business activities, its GP/LP Fund, Institutional Joint Venture, Operating General Partner operations, and subsidiary companies. The CFO will have primary day-to-day responsibility for ensuring timely and accurate financial statements, analysis of financial results, short- and long-term tax planning and reporting to the Board, Investors and JV partners. The CFO will lead a small but growing team, will oversee the property managers’ financial reporting as well as 3rd party administrators. The CFO will exhibit the highest levels of professionalism and integrity and promote best practices as it relates to accounting and financial stewardship. Advise the CEO and all other members of the Executive Team over areas of responsibility, including: controllership, financial planning, budgeting, cash flow, modeling and projections, cash and treasury management, risk management and insurance, annual audits, monthly, quarterly and annual financials Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance & Accounting group. The successful candidate will lead all planning, development, and implementation of the organization’s financial policies relative to accounting. Responsible for overseeing all acquisitions and property management accounting staff and resources, calendars, and deliverables Review and process all corporate spend; prepare corporate financial statements monthly. Manage the external audit and compliance testing requirements as necessary on behalf of Property manager company and clients. Manage the Finance Systems and optimize how they integrate with the firm’s subsidiaries and service providers Oversee all cash management functions Maintain and cultivate banking relationships Maintain cash projections and weekly monitoring of capital required across all ventures and funds Provide leadership and oversight for continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives. Maintain continuous lines of communication keeping the CEO and other members of the Executive Team informed of all critical financial issues. Assure the integrity of all financial reporting functions and the Finance & Accounting group. Oversee and direct audit and tax activities for the organization. Review and assess current accounting procedures, systems, policies and internal controls and design and implement additional controls as needed. Establish and monitor staff performance and employee goals, assign accountabilities, set objectives, establish priorities, conduct annual performance reviews, and assist the CEO in administering salary adjustments. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Qualifications: BS in Accounting or Finance required. MBA and/or CPA highly desirable. 5-7 years in real estate, ideally as a leader for a fund manager Experience with accounting and finance relating to joint ventures and real estate funds Experience designing and implementing internal controls for multiple subsidiaries and outsourced property management platforms Experience in multi-state real estate taxation. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and delivering results. Proven entrepreneurial mindset/approach coupled with the ability to optimize relationships across the leadership team. Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills Ability to engage, collaborate, and influence direct and indirect reports and peers. Energetic, flexible, collaborative and proactive; a team leader who can positively and productively impact both strategic and tactical finance and administrative initiatives. Exceptional and impeccable written, oral, analytical, interpersonal and presentation skills. A proven desire to build and maintain a world class finance organization
