Head of IT Security

Job Description : HEAD OF ITSECURITY INDONESIA ( OPEN TO EXPATS) You will get the chance to build your own IT security team and report directly to the Director level and be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive IT security strategies and protocols to protect the digital banking systems, data, and customer information from internal and external threats. Develop and implement IT security strategies, policies, and procedures to protect the company's digital banking systems, networks, and data from potential threats and vulnerabilities Lead a team of IT security professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to ensure effective execution of security initiatives Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability testing to identify potential areas of weakness and implement appropriate security measures Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements related to IT security, and ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that security protocols are integrated into all aspects of the company's technology infrastructure, including software development, network operations, and data management Manage the incident response process, including investigating and addressing security incidents, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions Develop and deliver IT security awareness and training programmes to educate employees on best practices for data protection and security Establish and maintain relationships with external vendors, security organisations, and regulatory bodies to stay informed about emerging threats and industry best practices Prepare and present reports and recommendations to senior management regarding IT security risks, incidents, and mitigation strategies To succeed in this role, you must have eight or more years of experience in IT security, with a focus on securing digital banking systems and infrastructure. Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred Strong knowledge of cyber security frameworks, standards, and best practices, such as ISO 27001, NIST, and PCI DSS In-depth understanding of network and system security principles, protocols, and technologies Experience with security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, vulnerability scanners, and SIEM solutions Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team of IT security professionals Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in high-pressure situations Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC is highly desirable This company is a pioneer in digital banking industry.
