Procurement Manager

Job Description : PROCUREMENT MANAGER DRC The Procurement Manager in the beverage industry involves overseeing and managing the procurement activities related to sourcing and purchasing materials, supplies, and services necessary for the production and distribution of beverages. 1. Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective sourcing of raw materials, ingredients, packaging materials, equipment, and services required for beverage production. 2. Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, price, reliability, and delivery capabilities. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with suppliers to optimize cost savings and ensure the availability of materials. 3. Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to foster collaboration, resolve issues, and ensure a reliable supply chain. Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations and implement improvement plans as needed. 4. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock of materials while minimizing excess inventory and obsolescence. Work closely with production and logistics teams to forecast demand, plan procurement activities, and manage inventory turnover. 5. Cost Optimization: Analyze market trends, conduct price benchmarking, and identify cost-saving opportunities. Implement cost optimization strategies such as supplier consolidation, negotiation, and alternative sourcing to achieve cost reduction targets. 6. Quality Assurance: Collaborate with quality control and assurance teams to ensure that purchased materials and supplies meet the required quality standards and comply with regulatory guidelines. 7. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate procurement-related risks, such as supply chain disruptions, price fluctuations, and quality issues. Develop and implement contingency plans to minimize the impact of potential risks on production and distribution. 8. Process Improvement: Continuously review and enhance procurement processes and systems to streamline operations, increase efficiency, and improve overall procurement performance - Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certification (e.g., Certified Professional in Supply Management, Certified Purchasing Manager) may be preferred. - Proven experience in procurement, preferably in the beverage industry or a related field. - Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, sourcing strategies, and supply chain management principles. - Excellent negotiation and contract management skills. - Proficiency in using procurement software and tools. - Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities. Salary $2500-$3000 per month + Accommodation, Visa Ticket etc
