Job Description : Director of Finance Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates Industry: F&B (Food and Beverage) Salary: Competitive salary + benefits Job Description: We are currently seeking an experienced Director of Finance to join a high-end team in the heart of Dubai. The ideal candidate will have extensive F&B (Food and Beverage) experience and will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of the operation. The Director of Finance will ensure that all financial activities are conducted within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of financial management in the F&B industry. Responsibilities: - Manage all F&B and day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards. - Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service. - Establish targets, KPIs, schedules, policies, and procedures. - Provide two-way communication and nurture an ownership environment with an emphasis on motivation and teamwork. - Report to management regarding sales results and productivity. - Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. - Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions when necessary. - Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards. - Develop and maintain financial controls to safeguard company assets. - Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders. - Collaborate with other departments to optimize operational efficiencies and profitability. - Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to support business growth. Requirements: - Extensive experience in a Director of Finance or similar role within the F&B industry. - Strong knowledge of financial management principles and best practices in the F&B sector. - Excellent leadership and management skills. - Proven track record of achieving financial targets and driving profitability. - Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Detail-oriented and highly organized. - Proficient in financial management software and MS Office. - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CMA, CFA) is a plus.
