Group Chief Operating Officer

Job Description : Group Chief Operating Officer is needed for a global agriculture investment company. Location – Dubai, UAE Salary – 80,000-100,000 AED/month Requirements: Minimum of 20 years’ experience in Investments/ Finance, turnround strategy, with at least 10 years in senior executive leadership roles Proven track record in managing complex, global operations with multiple subsidiaries Extensive experience in financial management, strategic planning, and operational excellence. Possesses executive presence and excellent communication skills Understanding of technology solutions, digital transformation and Agri business is a plus Responsibilities: Develop and execute the company's overall strategy, ensuring alignment with the mission and vision Cultivate a strong, transparent, and collaborative relationship with the Board of Directors providing them with comprehensive and insightful updates on all aspects of the business Establish a clear Profit-based strategy that counts for government mandates, measurable profits-driven goals, maximizes shareholder value and ensures the long-term financial viability of the company Lead the executive team, fostering a culture of accountability, excellence, and innovation Develop and articulate a clear and competing strategy for the company's future, ensuring alignment with our core values profitability goals, and long-term objectives. Lead the identification of investment opportunities and assess their viability Oversee financial performance, budgeting, and financial reporting. Implement financial controls and risk management strategies to safeguard company assets Evaluate and prioritize investment opportunities in Agri business sector. Manage the investment portfolio to achieve targeted returns and mitigate risks Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including partners, investors, and government entities Build and maintain strong relationships with all key stakeholders, including shareholders customers, employees, government bodies, and the broader community Ensure implementation of risk management practices to enable informative decision making Provide leadership to operational teams, ensuring efficient and effective execution of business plans Monitor and optimize operational processes to enhance productivity Navigate the complexities of managing a global agricultural business, understanding, and respecting the diverse cultures, practices, and regulations in each of the regions we operate Stay abreast of industry regulations and ensure the company's compliance with relevant laws and standards Drive the utilization/adoption of advanced agricultural technologies and digital tools across all subsidiaries to improve efficiency, optimize cost and enable data-driven decision-making Ensure strict compliance with all local, national, and international laws and regulations. In-depth understanding of the environmental regulations and agricultural laws that govern the company's operations in at regions About the Role: As the Group Chief Operating Officer (GCOO) of our Investment Holding Company specializing in Agri Business and other portfolios of the company, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, driving business growth, and ensuring the overall Success of the company. The COO will oversee investment strategies, manage relationships with key stakeholders, and contribute to the sustainable development of the overall portfolio.
