You will identify new markets for our products, ensuring we stay ahead of industry trends. Your leadership will ensure that our team is not only effectively employed but also continually developed through training opportunities. You will monitor our financial status, manage inventory, and ensure adherence to regulations across tax, accounting, risk management, and employment relations. Your role extends beyond managing resources; it involves nurturing talent, fostering an environment of continual learning, and upholding our Code of Conduct in every aspect of our operations. Implement operational strategies as per the annual strategy and budget plan Identify and develop new markets with potential for product utilisation Ensure that all staff are effectively employed and adequately trained Monitor and control the company’s performance and financial status Manage inventory and adhere to company regulations across various sectors Accountable for the acquisition, maintenance, and effective utilisation of all company assets Provide technical assistance and market support within the subsidiary as required Develop and invest in employees through on-the-job training and formal training sessions Ensure compliance with the Code of Conduct in every facet of day-to-day operation Represent the company at meetings or functions as necessary or appropriate As the ideal candidate for the Managing Director role, you bring a wealth of experience in leadership and strategic decision-making. You hold a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business and have spent at least five-10 years in a similar role. Your background in the building construction or machinery industry will be highly advantageous. Your leadership skills are demonstrated by your ability to guide teams, make informed choices, and inspire improvement and engagement. You possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex messages for diverse audiences. Your analytical skills enable you to interpret sales and finance reports, driving strategic actions that align with company goals. Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or Masters’ Degree in Business Minimum of five-10 years’ experience in a similar role with 20+ years in construction Demonstrated leadership ability with experience managing a team in excess of five employees High degree of self-awareness and emotional intelligence Ability to communicate complex strategic or technical messages in simple terms Proven ability to define scope of problems and solve them in a timely manner Strong role model embodying company values at all times Technical understanding of pumps and basic engineering principles Analytical skills with ability to analyse and interpret sales and finance reports
