Job Description : “PROJECT LEAD / HOD” (CHEMICALS, SPECIALITY CHEMICAL PLANTS, PHARMACEUTICALS, FMCG, INDUSTRIAL CHEMICALS, PAINTS etc. SECTORS. @ NEW SPECIALITY PROJECTS STRATEGIC BUSINESS UNIT) EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: B.E. (CHEMICAL OR MECHANICAL PREFERABLE) YEARS OF EXPERIENCE : MIN 25 YEARS JOB LOCATION: KANJUR MARG, MUMBAI JOB RESPONSIBILITY Candidate should have Project Execution Experience of Basic and Detailed Engineering/ EPCS/EPCM projects for clients in Chemicals, Speciality Chemical Plants, Pharmaceuticals, FMCG, Industrial Chemicals, Paints etc. sectors. Execution Experience in EPC industry will be an added advantage. Candidate should also be well conversant with Project Planning Tools like Primavera & MS Projects. As a Project Department Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing project execution, managing team of project managers & engineers and ensuring the successful completion of projects within budget & schedule. EXPERIENCE / SKILLS REQUIRED: · Lead and manage a team of project managers & engineers providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle. · Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, clients & management. · Ensuring effective communication, presentation skills and coordination. · Problem solving approach and decision making abilities. · Oversee project execution to meet project goals, client requirements, and maintaining engineering quality standards. · Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to established milestones, timelines and budgetary constraints. · Identify and address project risks, issues and deviations, implementing corrective actions as necessary. · Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. · Understand client requirements and expectations, aligning project objectives accordingly. · Proactively address client concerns, providing timely updates and resolving issues to maintain a high level of client satisfaction. · Ensure projects adhere to industry-specific regulations, engineering standards, and best practices. · Establish project execution guidelines, standardised the procedures and develop system & procedures for efficient execution of projects.
