Chief Operating Officer

Job Description : Chief Operations Officer (C00) to be based in Kenya. The COO will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative, growth-focused commercial strategies for both existing and new market segments, aligning with the company's strategic plan. They will provide leadership and expertise to achieve revenue targets across all product lines, ensuring business retention, sustainable growth, and profitability. Additionally, the COO will oversee commercial, consumer, and customer service operations to ensure efficiency, quality service, and cost-effective management of resources and assets. A key requirement for this role is a history of working in the Oil and Gas industry, and the position is open to candidates of all nationalities. 20 years relevant experience with at least 5 in a senior management role, preferably within the Energy sector physical commodity trading/distribution businesses. • Experience in the East African petroleum industry shall be an added advantage. • Good commercial and financial management experience. v. Experience in the Oil and Gas or related industry is required. • Strong communication, networking, negotiation, client, people-management and leadership skills. • Thorough knowledge of marketing principles, product or service management, sales and business development, with a track record of success and performance.
