General Manager Security

Job Description : GM SECURITY NAIROBI KENYA - The incumbent will have the overall responsibility for the security across all project sites in Residential Business. - Managing security and safeguarding of all the company's properties, Project Sites, Assets, physical safety of employees and visitors. - Liaison and lobbying with the local Police, Government Authorities, Ministry Officials for obtaining necessary approvals and ensuring compliance with local regulations. - Responsible for planning, developing and implementing security plans, security programs such as Emergency Response and Crisis Management, Physical Security, Information Protection, Incident Management and Investigation. - Evaluate & select external outsourced security agencies for providing security personnel guards. - Lead a team of security officers. Education & Experience Requirement: - Ideal candidate will be EX Army with 18+ years of experience of which last 5 - 8 years should be as Head of Security with exposure of handling with multiple locations. - Strategic orientation with ability to act tactically, as required. - Knowledge of policies, procedures and strategies, laws, legal codes and government regulations. - Extremely good in networking, lobbying and liaison. - Process oriented and adherence. - Requires strong analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
