Retail Head 

Job Description : Head of Retail KENYA We have an exciting career opportunity in the Retail Department. We are seeking for talented, dynamic, self-driven and results oriented individual who is committed to excellent performance and p3rticipating in our growth strategy. • To contribute to the development, implementation, monitoring and review of a retail operations that maximizes the retail net profit by driving sales and controlling retail costs • To build motivated a. high performing t.ms through the effective leadership a. line management of retail staff. • Ensure 'added value' opportunities are afford. through high presence; incl.ing raising public awareness with the marketing team. Job Responsibility and Accountability Project set ups • Ensuring t. set-up team is in place and liaising with the Project manager on the final plan. • Liaise E. follow up with product managers a. local suppliers for all orders placed. • Ensure sales volumes are at optimum as per the budgets. • Ensure t.t the Gross Profit at the locations are maintained as per the budgets. • Analyzing the bcations' performance vs budgets and variance analysis reporting. • Carry out Floor & Space planning & management with the Retail operations manager. • SPend time at all the retail stores with customers to understand a. identify business critical issues • Take a 1.c1 role in building a strong sales management culture, coaching Retail Ma.gers, identifying skills and opportunities for development. • Ensure that the marketing activities are implement. for promotions within the stipulated time frame • Implement strategies not only for customer retention b. also to increase the footfall, conversion r.es & basket values. • Regularly co-ordinate with the product & marketing managers a. the store managers to .sure t.t activities are roll. out on time, getting t. retail floor maximum advantage. • Gap analysis for each loccrtion including customer feedback based on the Monthly Review M.tings, with location managers. Ensure t.t the identified gaps are addressed, a. decorum of the business maintained. • Data .enee elements - u. of big .to e.g. delivery heatmaps, 360 views of customers. ,ierations Manager • Ensure t.t the shrinkages at locations are monitored and kept under control. • Consistently be u.at. an t. stock situations at the locations, and, .sure that quality stock is maintained and the product managers are informed on depleting slow moving/dead stocks from locations, under their purview. • Ensure t.t all processes and policies thcrt torte been outlined by the organization are followed diligently across the retail outlets • Regularly produce and present a range of financial/non-financial reports as required. • Any other d.ies as may be assigned to you by the directors frorn time to time Qualificatio, - ' • Minimum qualification of a degree in 1.siness with Sales or Marketing option or any othw relevant field. • • Extensive business experience of not less than 10 years including relevant multi-site gain. within t. retail sector. • Experienc. in managing relationships at a senior level and managing a diverse team. Good financial & value chain knowledge. • Must be able to demonstrate t. abiliry to contribute a. successfully deliver against a business strategy. • Must possess a track record of increasing and sustaining sales growth and profitability even in challenging martet conditions. • Must demonstrate a proven ability to motivate, coach and devebp people
