Job Description : OPERATIONS MANAGER DUBAI Maintain & improve operational standards in; HS & E Company administration Customer service quality Employee morale and motivation Cost controls Create excellent relationships with clients at all levels; Top Management, CEO Middle Management - Facilities Manager, Supply Chain Manager Client HSE Management Actively seek to increase a sound business base; Within existing business By actively searching for new business opportunities in existing sites Maintain and enhance profitability; Understand existing business Transactions Transaction Spend Revenue Contribute to the creation of new budgets Achieve existing budgetary targets Actively seek to reduce the company cost base Reduce overtime payments to a minimum Analyse, support and implement the Trim Trax system of waste control, MAPL & other company driven initiatives. Improve menus Content Gross Profits Recipes Reduce incidents of pilferage Reduce stock pilferage Reduce cash theft Improve cash register security and control Introduce new cash control initiatives Improve results reporting Understand the current cash control system and make positive practical recommendations for reducing revenue and profit erosion through malpractices. Continuously improve personnel development and motivation; Maintain a strong and ongoing employee training plan Create team building activities Work within strict staff remuneration parameters promising nothing, ever, without consultation. Communicate accurately and constantly any and all areas of concern in relation to the business by phone and/or email to relevant departments but specifically the RGM. Continuously strive to understand and become competent in relevant company systems and procedures. Plan, administer and lead any business development within the unit. Support company wide business initiatives and mobilisations as required. Be contactable in emergencies at any hour of the day, 7 days per week. Work weekends & holidays if pressing business issues dictate. Call site meetings to specifically identify areas for attention and to stimulate team effort. Experience : 8+ years experience in Catering field Education : BHM or equivalent
