Finance Head

Job Description : FINANCE HEAD LIVERPOOL UK This role is open to all suitably qualified candidates wordwide who are eligible for UK work visa Reporting to the Finance Director, your responsibilities will include; Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure business decisions are well informed Full day to day management of the finance function, including transactional finance, management accounts, financial reporting & FP&A Compile Board and Shareholder reports for review by the Finance Director. Be the key point of contact across the Senior Leadership Team for all aspects of finance, providing challenge and guidance, whilst ensuring departmental strategies are aligned to the business objectives. Act as a financial conscious across the wider business, proactively involving self in all significant projects whilst challenging the business to seek efficient and appropriate practices that protect shareholder value and reputation. Work closely with the relevant external stakeholders to further enhance best practice and exert influence on policy as appropriate. Lead external audit working as main point of contact for the Audit Partner and Manager. Responsible for all Technical Accounting requirements across the wider business including the preparation of the Financial Statements (including all disclosures) for submission to Companies House. Key requirements; Proven experience as a Head of Finance, managing a large & diverse finance function Qualified Accountant (ideally ACA, ACCA) with strong technical accounting experience Strong communication & staff development skills Proven track record of implementing change & improvements across processes & systems A strong mix of Commercial experience & technical reporting skills Strong team management and ability to delegate and develop others to bring the best out of the Finance team.
