Project Director

Job Description : PROJECT DIRECTOR GCC Only apply if you can work in Middle East or African countries in the O&G sector Only apply if you have min 20 years of project management experience leading Oil and Gas player in Oman and is looking to hire a Project Director for their natural gas production and distribution business worth 3000 Cr+ and managing 1000+ people. The project director will initially spend time in India and then will be posted in either Middle East/Africa. Reporting into the CEO, you will be responsible for: Performing end-to-end management and administration of the assigned project (s) and associated activities but not limited to projects operations, planning and delivery, project P&L, project QHSE matters etc Preparing project execution plans, review schedules and providing effective feedback to the planning department for project monitoring and execution. Monitoring budget and ensuring that the project is executed at an optimum cost and on time. Identifying problems and solutions in each phase; detailed design/engineering, procurement, construction & commissioning Ensuring that the Project Team complies with international regulations and requirements Exercising stringent control on the allocated project budget and be responsible to capture any variations. Adhering to the project execution plans and all other aspects of project execution, including HSSE, quality, project services, procurement, subcontracts, regulatory and permitting, interface management, site construction, logistics, commissioning, and handover to operations. Ideally you are a full time engineer with 20+ years of experience in end to end project management in the Oil and Gas industry. You MUST be open to work in Middle East and African countries. You should have a terrific track record in leading teams and should be ready for a challenging assignment.
