Reporting directly to the Plant Director, this is a role for an expert is a leader in their field. a dedicated and experienced Production Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of their food packaging production process. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop and implement production schedules, ensuring optimal resource utilisation while meeting customer demands. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining compliance with food safety regulations and standards, such as FDA, USDA, HACCP. They will also have the chance to lead, motivate, and train production staff to maintain high levels of performance and productivity. You will be entrusted with developing and implementing production schedules that not only meet customer demands but also optimise resource utilisation. Developing and implementing production schedules to meet customer demands while optimising resource utilisation Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and standards (e.g., FDA, USDA, HACCP) Monitoring and improving production efficiency and quality through continuous process optimisation and adherence to best practices Leading, motivating, and training production staff to maintain high levels of performance and productivity Collaborating with other departments such as quality assurance, maintenance, and supply chain to resolve production issues and ensure seamless workflow Managing inventory levels of packaging materials and coordinating with procurement to ensure timely availability Implementing and maintaining safety protocols to create a safe working environment for all employees Analysing production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
