Job Description : FINANCE DIRECTOR ONTORIO CANADA Role is open to qualified overseas candidates from auto domain a leading automotive manufacturer, is seeking a Director of Finance to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a global expansion mission, with the launch of an all-electric smart SUV model line-up. Responsibilities: Propose and develop continuous evaluation of both short-term and long-term financial strategies Evaluate company financial performance and recommend improvements Oversee all matters related to accounting and finance Responsible for timely and proper financial reports with accuracy Provide timely and detailed analysis of budgets, forecasts, and financial trends Oversee all tax filings of the corporate and serve as the main contact for all tax-related topics Develop, monitor and enforce policies and procedures relevant to accounting, budgeting, forecasting, project tracking and internal control Take lead as a business owner in the development and implementation of related systems for finance & accounting practices Mentor team members on engagements to ensure delivery of accurate and timely financial information Requirements: 18+ years’ experience in finance analysis/budgeting/forecasting Extensive experience and knowledge in dealing with finance and accounting systems Demonstrated leadership with high level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability Strong work ethic with flexibility, adaptability, and ability to work with tight deadlines Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills Strong Excel skills and ability to analyse large amounts of data SAP experience or SOX requirement is an asset CPA designation is required
