Job description · Shift In charge to oversee production activities during their respective shifts. · The Shift In charge will be responsible for efficiently managing manpower, production planning, trouble shooting and maintaining detailed production reports. · The primary objective of this role is to ensure the smooth execution of all production processes from material handling to finished goods, in line with quality, control on wastage and maintain safety standards. · Responsible for manufacturing zero defect products as per applicable international standards(ISO). · Responsible for maintaining all ISO records. Manpower Handling: Supervise and guide the production team during the shift, ensuring optimal utilisation of resources, machines and maintaining a positive work environment. Production Planning: Develop shift-specific production plans, considering demand forecasts, inventory levels, and resource availability, to meet production targets efficiently. Production Reporting: Accurately maintain and update production reports, including output quantities, down time records, and any incidents during the shift. Material Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and issuance of raw materials, ensuring adequate stock levels to support uninterrupted production. Reconciliation of materials. Equipment Monitoring: Monitor the functioning of production machinery and equipment, coordinating with the maintenance team for timely repairs and preventive maintenance.
