Factory Manager

Job Description : DAIRY FACTORY MANAGER KENYA We are looking for a Factory Manager with qualifications and experience in the dairy sector, in particular the milk, ice cream and yogurt industry. Experience in any other field mentioned in the Company Profile will be an added bonus. Candidate should have the ability to manage a production team effectively and have good management and communication skills and be a team player in a Company that believes heavily on team work and dedication. Core Responsibilities include: Train, Develop and Lead Team, Inventory & Cost Management, Factory Administration, Production Planning & Execution, New Product Development & R&D, Factory Expansion and Project Management. The applicant must have good speaking and written English and have advanced computer skills to use Outlook, Word, Excel and any ERP System and work in a busy work environment. DESIRED CANDIDIATE PROFILE Education: BSc/MSc (Dairy Technology, Food Technology/Science or related) Age: 45 Years Experience: 12+ years + in Dairy Industry (Milk, Ice Cream, Yogurt) Ice cream production is MUST Technical Skills: 1. The person should have knowledge of various production processes and techniques related to Ice Cream Industry and machinery. 2. He should have experience in controlling inventory of Raw Material and Finished products. 3. Strong Reporting and Analysis skills 4. Should have an innovative mind for developing new products. 5. Experience in Recipe Formulation, Cost optimization and NPD 6. Should understand quality related aspects in Dairy Industry. 7. Experience & knowledge for ISO certification or equivalent (FSMS/FSSC/BRC) Other Skills: 1. Proficiency in written and spoken English 2. Computer Skills such as Outlook, Word & Excel and ERP System 3. Ability to learn and good problem-solving skills 4. Good Interpersonal and communication skills.
