Chief Strategy Officer

Job Description : CHIEF STRATEGY OFFICER UAE in the mining and oil & gas sectors. Responsibilities: Drive leadership in the planning, design, and implementation of innovative business solutions by defining vision, strategies, and tactics to address market shifts to optimize competitive position. Drive team-wide process for creating and managing investment portfolios and working closely with the finance team to resolve issues as they arise. Maintain critical relationships with holding-company stakeholders, including finance and investor relations. Provide leadership and guidance to the executive team and board of directors on sustainability-related matters. Foster a culture of sustainability awareness and accountability throughout the organization, promoting employee engagement and participation in sustainability initiatives. Stay informed about emerging trends, technologies, and regulations in the mining and oil & gas industries, and incorporate relevant developments into the organization's sustainability strategy. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or related field (master’s degree preferred). Minimum of 18+ years of experience in leadership roles within the mining and oil & gas industries. Proven ability to develop and implement successful sustainability strategies and initiatives. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Demonstrated track record of driving innovation and continuous improvement in sustainability performance. Experience managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with internal and external partners. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex environmental issues and develop effective solutions.
