Job Description : MAINTENANCE IN CHARGE NIGERIA FOR CHEMICAL INDUSTRY 10+ years experience This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary. Repair Electrical Systems and act quickly to make on-the-spot repairs when electrical systems and machinery malfunction. Troubleshoot Malfunctions of any electrical system must make inspections and assess potential problems, and recommend changes or upgrades to electrical systems to increase productivity and functionality. Perform regular tests to new and existing electrical systems, equipment, and machinery, both to spot potential problems and to ensure that systems are operating at their highest possible levels of functionality. To inspect, repair, replace, adjust, install, wire and maintain electrical mechanical equipment in the plant or an assigned area, including structural, crane, mobile equipment, hydraulics, plumbing and piping maintenance. Make electrical mechanical repairs as required. Installation, operation, relocation, and maintenance of all productions equipment Provide regular scheduled electrical mechanical repair, installation, prevention and inspection work. Implementation of preventative and predictive maintenance strategies Initiates and carries out projects to improve efficiency and/or reduce operating costs Tracks, analyzes and improves key maintenance parameters; such as asset utilization, maintenance cost, PM compliance, schedule compliance, downtime, etc. Ability to use various tools, including but not limited to precision tools, drill press, power saw, grinders, threaders, pipe cutters, drills, pullers, hoists, wrenches, etc. Environmental and Safety Compliance Previous experience in facilities/plant engineering is a plus Operation and maintenance of Diesel / Gas Generators Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems Experience with servo & transformers Experience with integrated drives with PLC control
