12 yearsJob Description : General Manager - Sales for East and Central Africa Location: Dar-e-salaam, Tanzania Experience: 12+ years Industry: Trading & Distribution/Automotive/Logistics Conglomerate Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute strategic plans to drive sales growth in East and Central Africa. - Lead and mentor the sales team to achieve targets and objectives. - Foster strong relationships with key partners and stakeholders. - Analyze market trends and identify new opportunities for expansion. - Implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue and market share. - Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for the sales department. - Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance sales performance and efficiency. - Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and synergy across the organization. - Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on sales performance and key metrics. Key Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. - Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, preferably in the automotive or logistics industry. - Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams. - Strategic thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. - Experience working in East Africa, with knowledge of the Tanzanian market a plus. -Fluent in English; proficiency in Swahili is advantageous.
