Job Description : Head API Research & Development -VP Cadre for Raichur - Karnataka Reputed Pharma company The candidate should be 15-25 Plus years Experience managing a synthetic team of minimum 30 people including synthetic, analytical and IP teams. • Ability to independently plan, organize and prioritize own team time to achieve a high level of productivity and on-time delivery. • Have vision. Ability to propose new products, technologies, ideas, directions, innovations, and ways of working; convince of them and plan for consecution. • Excellent chemical knowledge and understanding, particularly in synthetic organic chemistry. Experience in route of synthesis design. • On-the-paper ideation and design of cost-competitive, safe, sustainable, efficient, and novel routes of synthesis for the target molecules together with the route scouting team and IP specialists. • Development of creative solutions to synthetic challenges towards generic API molecules. Including HPAPIs and oncologic. • Author of patents / applications around innovative and non-infringing processes to produce Generics API. • Execute in his / her team, in a fast and focused manner, the development and optimization of the designed routes of synthesis towards the targeted molecules. Several developments at the same time needs to be performed with the required resources. Be capable of managing more than one feasibility at the same time with the required team. • Excellent track record in solving complex synthetic problems in creative and innovative ways Objective analysis and evaluation of available scientific data to inform decision making.
