Job Description : Plant Head --- Manufacturing Engineering (Operations) ----in a renowned Auto Parts Mfg Co--- SAN PAOLO BRAZIL Qualification – B.Tech (Mech.) / MTech KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Exposure to working in an ERP environment (SAP will be an added advantage). 2. Knowledge of quality management systems. 3. Demonstrable experience in leading manufacturing function like Lean, Six Sigma, SMED, PFMEA, etc. 4. Ability to add value, reduce cost, and make business improvements. 5. Plan and monitor key performance indicators periodically. 6. Drive improvement projects periodically to improve productivity, cost, and quality. 7. Coach, mentor and develop direct reports and manage high performing team through performance monitoring, clear communication and effective coordination. 8. Ensure manufacturing, quality and EHS standards and procedures are adhered and handled customers‘and other audits/inspections etc. 9. Work on other assignments as assigned by the management. 10. Overall responsible for manufacturing activities at the plant. 11. Conceptualise & execute the strategy, plan, procedure to improve the plant performance. 12. Ensure that business objectives and operational needs in terms of quality and delivery targets are met. 13. Ensure effective inventory management and no inventory variance at Plant. 14. Drive the plant profitability and take necessary actions to ensure to achievement of plant objectives.
