Supply Chain Manager

Job Description : SCM IVC 8+ years experience · He ensures all procurement needs are met on time in accordance with ICRAF's procurement strategies, policies, and procedures in Cte d'Ivoire · Develop Annual procurement plans · Assess and clarify requirements and specifications with the client where appropriate identify sources and prepare and issue documents requests for quotes [RFQ] · Manage the procurement activities including international procurement of a broad range of goods and services; · Review and implement of procurement contracts in a timely manner · Observe and followed the reporting and audit recommendation related to procurement requirements · Establish a solid database of vendors and maintain a fair professional relation with all accredited vendors · File and keep confidentially all suppliers/service providers Information, history, and performance · Track inventory and contracts for rehabilitation works or others initiated by ICRAF (Center for International Forestry Research or World Agro forestry) · Assist the Country Manager in contract management: legal considerations, payment conditions, contractor's performance evaluation, and risk assessment · Liaise with HQ offices to ensure supply chain effectiveness and delivery of goods and services in a timely fashion as per the operating policies and procedures Transport Services · Ensure a consolidated transport plan · Identify logistical bottlenecks and propose the ways to fill in the gaps · Develop vehicle monthly reports and provide the necessary support to the respective Admin and Finance staff for proper cost allocation Stock Management · Ensure proper planning of inventory in the stores with all stock items optimally stocked and properly monitored to avoid stock-outs or overstocking · Conduct spot checks and surprise inventory counts are done systematically REQUIREMENTS At least Master or postgraduate in Logistics and Procurement Sound Knowledge of Procurement and purchasing management Sound knowledge of logistics management Hands on experience with supply chain management software / ERP
